Designed to offer speeds of up to six knots the vehicles are arranged for ease of launch and recovery and for an endurance of up to a month, depending on operational profile. When on station the vehicle can minimise airborne and waterborne noise to very low levels and can deploy hydrophones and microphones. The control system is common to that used by other ASV multi-vehicle systems.
