Chairman - Hugh Young CBE
Hugh Young has a background in electronics and has had extensive civil and military maritime experience. His focus has been to steer the company towards the most promising areas of the changing unmanned vehicle industry.


Managing Director - Stephen Phillips CEng FRINA FIMarEST
Stephen Phillips is an experienced naval architect and marine engineer and is committed to ensuring that ASV Ltd plays a leading and professional role in the future development of the unmanned marine vehicle industry.


Technical Director - Dan Hook CEng MRINA
Dan Hook trained as a naval architect and has the responsibility for the development of the company’s unmanned vehicle systems. He was project manager for the SASS vehicle development programme and also for the production of the Fast Marine Target Drones (FMTD) for the MOD.


Systems Manager – Richard Daltry MEng GMRINA
Richard Daltry has responsibility for the design and manufacture of the ASV Ltd control systems and trials instrumentation. He is currently leading the development of the next generation of control system for multi-vehicle control and monitoring with modules providing varying levels of autonomy.

 

Facilities

Management and Design Offices – The company owns and occupies two adjacent modern offices near the city centre of Chichester in West Sussex. A networked IT system ensures that all staff can access the full range of company resources and data.

Electronics Workshop – This is used for the preparation, maintenance and assembly of control systems and other electrical/electronic equipment used by the company for trials or operational purposes.

Preparation Workshop – The 1000 ft2 workshop outfitted with a comprehensive set of engineering equipment and tools, is used for prototype build and production vehicle assembly.

Test Facilities –The company has arrangements with local harbour authorities for the testing of full scale unmanned vehicles in open-water and open–sea conditions.
